Founders

Merging architectural beliefs with the power of data.

Founded in 2020 by Malte Köditz and Ulf Seekamp, spaciv combines an architect's vision with a software engineer's mindset to improve places of work. Firmly believing that space is a canvas for tangible processes, activities and human interactions, we help to craft spaces tailored to meet users' unique needs.

Our data-centric approach responds to the complexity of understanding these needs, modelling future scenarios and calculating requirements, effectively tackling strategic and operational challenges to create efficient and fit-for-purpose environments.

Our impact

Why this work matters.

Cost efficiency

For most organisations, real estate — offices, labs, production, logistics and retail — is one of the largest expense categories. Cost reductions in this area have a significant impact on the bottom line.

Sustainability

Real estate is responsible for 40% of global CO₂ emissions. It is simply unacceptable that we continue to create space without a clear understanding of how much we really need.

Productivity

Well-matched space has a measurable impact on the performance of the people and processes it hosts. Our customers have measured correlations between the fitness of their space and operational output.

Well-being

Creating healthy environments means understanding the unique needs of their users. One-size-fits-all space concepts are often a cause of a high number of sick days.
